Hôtel Berbisey

Built by Thomas Berbisey, civil clerk at the Parliament, trusted man of Louis XI (early 16th century). It contains a small courtyard with a carved wooden gallery linking the buildings in a similar way to the hôtel Chambellan in rue des Forges. These two residences, still in the medieval spirit with their combination of stone and wood, are the first in a line of private mansions.
