18ème Nuit européenne des musées – Concert lyrique flûte-chant-piano « Ailleurs »

A museum is beautiful at night!
As part of the 18th European Museum Night in Dijon, ClairObscur-Lyrique presents a flute-chant-piano concert "Ailleurs", with Sylvie Monot, lyric mezzo-soprano soloist, Caroline Schmid, pianist and Mathilde Groffier, flutist.
"Elsewhere" is a journey around exotic, orientalist works, around the poetic evocation of disorientation, drawn from the East and Asia.
From the Orient and Elsewhere, each piece is an invitation to the imagination where the scent of orange trees, lilies and roses is set against a warm breeze on a summer evening.
The flute with its oriental colours is a musical alliance for a real proposal to travel.
"I would like to see Damascus and the cities of Persia with the light minarets in the air... Many Western composers have taken their contemporaries on a journey "Elsewhere", drawing on the East and Asia to bring a new colour to Western music.
Let us travel with Bizet, Fauré, Saint-Saëns, Holmes, Viardot, Thomas, Gounod, Rameau, Chaminade, Gaubert, Ravel, Grieg... and many others...
