In just two albums (Olympic, released in 2016, then Joshua in 2019), French 79 have managed to write a new page in the French Touch, drawing on their roots in Erik Satie and Jean-Michel Jarre, then Air and Daft Punk, to bring them into a new era. After an international tour of over 100 dates, which has made him an unmissable stage sensation, Simon Henner is now preparing to take things to the next level with his next album, the aptly-named TEENAGERS (out on 05 May 2023), a mix of romantic and nostalgic, epic and flamboyant, liberating harmonies, sensational whirlwinds, pop gems, carefree abandon, unsettling energy and sumptuous introspective tracks.

Since Charles, an Anglophile pseudonym for a very French project, that of Charles Sinz, singer and sole musician, on synths, machines and guitar. With his loving electro-pop lyrics and nostalgic influences, Since Charles is as much about Etienne Daho as Flavien Berger, Mount Kimbie as Metronomy, new wave as electronica. Lyrically, he uses French to record snatches of passionate memories and urban, night-time encounters. His voice is inspired, poised and true, somewhere between indie-pop and futuristic soul.
