French 79 (FR)
In just two albums (Olympic, released in 2016, then Joshua in 2019), French 79 has succeeded in writing a new page of the French Touch, drawing its roots from Erik Satie and Jean-Michel Jarre, then from Air or Daft Punk, to bring them into a new era. After an international tour of more than 100 dates, which elevated him to the rank of an unmissable stage sensation, Simon Henner is now preparing to take a new step forward with his next album, the aptly named TEENAGERS (to be released on 05 May 2023), which features romantic and nostalgic, epic and flamboyant tracks, liberating harmonies, sensational whirlwinds, pop jewels, carefree insouciance, destabilising energy and sumptuous introspective tracks.
