A delightful musical plunge into the magic of the great Méliès! It was at the beginning of the 20th century that Georges Méliès made these short films in his film studio in the Paris region: overprinting, fading in and out, stopping the camera, all the new tricks were used to tell these fantastic stories, witnesses of the first special effects. For this marvellous and abracadabrique journey to the heart of the sun and the bottom of the oceans, Étienne Meyer, accompanied by the musicians of his ensemble. Les Traversées Baroques, has designed a show that goes beyond the traditional film-concert. He gives the floor to the director's great-grandson, for a moving encounter with the descendants of the adventurers invented by his ancestor. An original show to discover the incredible universe of the fabulous enchanter Méliès!
