Voilà l’été Festival

FRIDAY 8 JULY Festive Jazz Evening

JAZZ O'GORILLE - "Brassens même pas mort" concert at 7pm
The six croques morts of Jazz O' Gorille invite themselves under the bandstand of the square for a vibrant tribute to Georges Brassens. Fifteen songs by the poet from Sète revisited in a New Orleans style for a musical cocktail that is both swinging and caustic! With S. Waivrand (washboard), J.-P. Palma (tuba), Y. Batisse (banjo-chant), N. Woillard (soprano sax), D. Gaillard (trumpet), G. Perreau (trombone). Director: O. Dureuil.

LITTLE TREME at 9pm
Thinking of the group as a chamber band, the Little Treme quartet now takes you on a journey to the heart of New Orleans music with a resolutely festive spirit.
The musicians will take you on a 1.5 hour journey through their personal arrangements of a repertoire that draws on the various musical currents of New Orleans: traditional jazz, parade music, second line, gospel and spirituals, Creole, blues, charleston, ragtime...

SATURDAY 9 JULY Festive Rock and Balkan Ska evening

BIBEO at 7pm
Bibeo is a group of atypical French songs juggling musical styles such as ska, swing, rock or reggae to serve texts combining a tangy and realistic poetry with a lewd and grating humour.
Composed of 6 musicians, Bibeo offers a festive and participative show that has proven itself in many festivals and concert halls with more than 150 performances...

BALKAN GRAD at 9pm
Festive music with the words of the great humanists of our time. With its World-Balkan fusion, Balkan Grad invites you to a great journey. Let yourself be carried away by this subtle mix of traditional Eastern pieces that we carry as a heritage.
Their compositions offer us a unique journey inspired by the multiple influences of the stopovers that the exodus offered them.

SUNDAY 10 JULY afternoon Latino soleil and Ukulele

LES D'UKES at 3.30pm
Twenty or so ukuleles playing beautiful French songs, a summery atmosphere guaranteed. The D'Ukes offer a participative concert in a relaxed atmosphere and revisit the standards of French song and international variety: "Salade de fruits", "Stand by me", "Le lion est mort", "La Javanaise"... They invite you to a giant karaoke with 17 live ukuleles as a soundtrack!

¿WHO'S THE CUBAN? at 5pm
¿Who's The Cuban? blends the essence of Cuban and Caribbean music with psychedelic rock. This unusual fusion creates a tropical, electric and danceable blend. Delicious Latin melodies meet a saturated guitar, a powerful bass, a syncopated piano, soaring keyboards, unbridled drums and frenzied percussion... The septet delivers a fiery live show, bubbling with energy. Mixers, to close our festival, come and taste the Salsa!
