Consortium Museum – Centre d’art contemporain

Le Consortium is managed by the association le Coin du Miroir and was rewarded the label ‘art centre’ in 1982. In the renovated and extended building of more than 4000 m2, designed by the Japanese architect Shigeru Ban (Pritzker Price 2014) and his French assistant Jean de Gastines, temporary exhibition are being held every year since 2011. The objectives of the art centre are that of the production and exhibition of contemporary works of art, the enrichment of public heritage, and the promotion, spreading and education of art and the thinking about art today.

Opening times

Wednesday to Sunday, 2pm to 6pm and until 8pm on Fridays (free admission from 5pm to 8pm on Fridays).
Closed on public holidays and on 24 and 31 December 2023.
Guided tours (no reservation required) Fridays at 6.30pm, Saturdays and Sundays at 4pm.
The Anna Sanders Films screening room is open every Friday from 5pm to 8pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 6pm.

Accessibility

Full accessibility to people with reduced mobility. Equipment available on demand : fold-up seat, handset, magnetic induction current loops with headphones, booklet « easy to read and understand » about the exhibitions. We regularly offer tours of the exhibitions in sign language and with audio description.
