Parc de la Fontaine aux Fées

Because of its proximity to the town, the Parc de la Fontaine aux Fées has long been a place of human activity. The quarries are the most obvious, but the edges of the plateaux and flats have also been used for vineyards and orchards, while the grasslands, which are "poorer" environments, were grazed by herds of goats and sheep. Man was present everywhere. Since 1994, the rules for preserving the site have been governed by a legal framework: the law on the protection of nature. An agreement has been signed between the Conservatoire d'Espaces Naturels de Bourgogne and the town of Talant.
