Murray Head à Chenôve

Since the 1960s, Murray Head has established himself as a complete artist, with the huge hits "Say It Ain't So Joe" and "One Night In Bangkok" as the tip of his musical iceberg.
Signed to the EMI label at the age of 17, he was 20 when he played his first major film role (notably in "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" in 1971) and burned up the stage in "Hair" and "Jesus Christ Superstar".

Since then, Murray has lived a thousand lives, acting in around twenty films and as many TV series, writing soundtracks (including two for Edouard Molinaro), writing (his autobiography "En Passant" came out in 2011) and always singing, in musicals, on record or live.
In 2012, he paid tribute to his idols with "My Back Pages", featuring covers of Bob Dylan, The Who and Roxy Music.

Murray Head will be back at the Olympia on 28 March 2020, then on tour across France, performing and rediscovering his cult album 'Say It Ain't So' in its entirety.
There are albums that are part of our lives, our history, our memories... "Say It Ain't So" is one of them, one that a whole generation listened to over and over again, and one that continues to seduce the younger generation to this day.
Murray Head, the eternal rebel, promises to transport you into his world of rock and ballads. He will be joined on stage by his faithful musicians, the brilliant guitarist Phil Palmer, the violinist Geoffrey Richardson, the bassist Jennifer Maidman, the saxophonist Harry Fausing Smith and the drummer Ally McDougal.
