Parc de la Colombière

Designed in the 17th century by a pupil of Le Nôtre, the French-style park aligns perspectives, radiating paths and symmetrical flowerbeds. Crossed by a vast avenue shaded by lime trees, a favourite walk for the people of Dijon, it has some 6,000 leafy trees, a 17th-century Temple of Love and the remains of the Roman road Agrippa. Numerous play areas (including an area accessible to the disabled) and animal enclosures have been set up for the enjoyment of young children. During the school holidays, possibility of walks with donkeys or rosalia. In the summer: tree climbing, offered by the association Arborescence.
