Parc écologique de la Combe Saint-Joseph

An island of nature on the edge of the city, this park was developed between 1976 and 1980. The 15-hectare site has been developed as an ecological park.
The park takes its name from the Combe Saint-Joseph. In geology, a combe is a valley at medium altitude, with very little sunshine and long periods of snow, whose flora is that of the high mountains, and which descends to the slopes of the town. An educational trail will introduce you to the flora and fauna. There are also numerous information panels to help you identify the main tree and flower species.
At the top of the Combe Saint-Joseph, you'll find the start of a 51km hiking trail, the Sentier Bartier, linking Dijon to Nuits-Saint-Georges via the Côte des Vins.
Lovers of peace and nature will be delighted by the Combe Saint-Joseph park.
