Un contre un

Freely inspired by the characters of Orpheus and Eurydice, Un contre un, directed by Raphaëlle Boitel, challenges the myth in a playful and surreal way. Her Eurydice, the central character, questions stereotypes and the positions imposed by society, tells the story of life and its limits, and explores the question of Heaven
and Hell.
Is one person's hell the other's paradise? How does one live in the light or in the darkness?
The path followed in Un contre un is punctuated by surprises, doubts, outbursts, fears, laughter and moments of grace, a path hindered or supported by a Pandora's box that is alternately cage, apparatus or castelet.
Last but not least, because Orpheus cannot be performed without music, Arthur Bison's original compositions help to create a dreamlike world that is at once romantic and musical.
