Helen is married to Danny. They have a child, Shane. They are having dinner together in their flat. Liam, Helen's brother, interrupts them, his shirt is covered in blood. The couple want to understand what happened. Liam talks confusedly about a "wounded young man" whom he would have taken in his arms.
