Théâtre d'Objets Décomposés
Like a celestial outsider, a man enters the stage and strips off his clothes. He'll only give sixty minutes, not one more. Yet he has things to say, thirteen stories to be exact.
In his suitcase, vinyl records introduce a gallery of offbeat characters and situations: the brain-washer, the man chased by a horse, the runner who can't stop, the illusionist who makes the world disappear...
It's up to you, the spectator, to select the scenes you're going to see. You won't be able to see them all, so you'll have to make your own choices. TOD (Théâtre d'Objets Décomposés) is a play with variable geometry. Led by a single actor, each performance is the opportunity for a new body of texts, disturbing tableaux and reveries, strange conversations or monologues, imbued with surrealism, poetry and the absurd.
Under the artistic direction of Max Legoubé and in the light of Matei Visniec's work, the Compagnie Sans Soucis brings together the arts of theatre, puppetry and objects, inviting the audience to see the human soul with humour and derision.
