« LES NOURRITURES POLITIQUES » PAR STÉPHANIE SAGOT DU NOUVEAU MINISTÈRE DE L’AGRICULTURE

PERFORMANCE LECTURE | FRANCE
By creating a heterogeneous corpus of political speeches, literary works and advertising slogans, I document the ways in which we consume our Earth. The issues at stake are a monoculture of the mind (Vandana Shiva, 1993) and a mechanistic reductionism of the living world, as well as putting them into perspective in order to address, among other things, the contemporary re-engagement with the subsistence economy and peasant struggles.
Stéphanie Sagot

Stéphanie Sagot is an artist and art lecturer from a family of oyster farmers. She is developing a multi-faceted body of work with an ecological and feminist slant. Linking creative work, research and curating, she is interested in the relationship between art and everyday life, seeing it as a means of emancipation and even resistance. By infiltrating the real world and examining the relationship between human beings and their environment, she takes on the subjects of agriculture, food and the status of women in the face of ultraliberalism and extractivism.
