Nicolas Lacroix is too nice and he readily admits it.
He also likes to make people happy and make them laugh, which has always been the case.
Ever since primary school, when he used to reproduce sketches he'd seen on TV, he's been dreaming of the stage.
It was through social networking that he got there. Encouraged by his friends and family, he published his first video on Tik Tok, which was an immediate success. A year and a half later, more than one and a half million people follow him on a daily basis.
As he believed more in hard work than talent, he took his time and it was finally GuiHome who took him on stage by producing his first show.
It's about a boy who's too nice and can't say no, but thinks no less of it. Looking at the world, talking about what he knows, making fun of his coming out, worrying about the future of language when Wejdene has taken Baudelaire's place, imagining that a virtual assistant could act as a shrink. Always arriving at the same conclusion, the one that has existed since the dawn of time: it was better before. Nicolas assumes his slightly old-fashioned side, that of a nostalgic young man caught up in a world that's moving too fast. He says a lot about the anxieties of his generation.
Today, even if social networks play an important role, he knows that an artist is not made in a day, and he dreads a mid-air explosion. There's no question of resting on his laurels, especially if they're virtual. So he works and works and works to earn every laugh and every applause, and he loves it.
