As part of the "Les nuits d'Orient et d'Ailleurs" 2024 festival in Dijon, ClairObscur-Lyrique presents "Nuits Persanes", a flute-chant-piano-or-violin-narrative concert.
"Nuits Persanes" is a window onto a dreamy and fascinating 19th-century Orient.
"Nuits Persanes" is an exploration of this vast universe, this dream of the Orient and Elsewhere that inspired so many writers, painters and musicians.
"Nuits Persanes is a dream of the Orient, with music by Berlioz, Bizet, Ravel, Pedrell, Gounod and Saint-Saëns, set to texts by Victor Hugo, Théophile Gautier and Armand Renaud.
"Nuits Persanes" is a musical journey led by vocals, piano, flute, oud and violin, punctuated by poems from Armand Renaud's Nuits Persanes.
"Nuits Persanes" is a moonlit reverie under a starry sky, a journey to the Orient.
"Nuits Persanes" evokes the landscapes, perfumes and atmospheres of Persia and elsewhere.
