As part of the European Week for Waste Reduction, Dijon métropole is organising a day dedicated to reuse, sorting and waste reduction in partnership with the Recyclade association and the sorting ambassadors: Saturday 16 November from 10am to 5pm in the Grande Orangerie of the Jardin des Sciences (Parc de l'Arquebuse).
Several stands and workshops will be on offer:
- a Gratiferia
The concept is simple: to create an ephemeral free zone of donations and recycling in which the residents of the Dijon metropolitan area are invited to take part and give a second life to objects. Everyone is welcome to donate if they wish and to take any item they wish, whether or not they have brought something with them.
Only items that are clean and in working order can be donated: books, CDs, DVDs, clothes, small electronics, decorative items, crockery, small items of furniture and toys.
A maximum of 5 items per person may be collected.
- Ucycling workshops are also available to help you prepare your Christmas presents (registration required, for Dijon metropolitan area residents only):
- Vinyl clock-making workshop (limited to 6 people) from 10am to 12pm.
