La Petite Maison

Pascal Lazzarotti is not only a painter, but also a visual artist who dabbles in everything. From acrylic and oil paints to digital tablets, his canvases and digital paintings bear witness to his ongoing quest for expressive painting.
His subjects, if you know how to observe them, reveal their fragility, their rebellion, their vulnerability, their strength, without too much demonstration, leaving the viewer to interpret the work.
"I like," he says, "to give everyone the freedom to see what they want in my paintings, to invent their own story: experience yourself in the eyes of this 'other in painting', looking for expression and emotion, and slowly allowing empathy to come to you".
Pascal Lazzarotti is not attached to reality. He subjects it to his own state of mind. The artist plays with our emotions. His work is full of poetry and provocation.
"Some people will say that my approach can be seen as introspective painting. That's true enough. It's uncompromising. I want it to be strong, sometimes committed and always expressive.

Pascal Lazzarotti is above all a painter, but he is also a multifaced artist who loves to play with his art. He uses various materials, from acrylic to oil and more recently digital painting, always ni search of an expressive way of painting.
The subjects he chooses, if one knows how ot observe them, reveal their fragility and their rebelion, their vulnerability and their strength... but always in a delicate way, leaving the possibility for the audience to read into his work the way they like.
"I like the idea to give enough freedom to everyone to see what they want in my paintings and to let them imagine their own story. Immerse yourself into the gaze of that "other one made of paint", look for the expression and emotion, and slowly let the empathy come to you".
Pascal Lazzaroti doesn't seek to stick to reality. He submits it to his own qualms and feelings. The artist plays with our emotions. His work is marked with poetry and provocation.
"Some would say that the approach nor my painting is rather introspective. It's quite true. It si made with no concession. I want it to be strong, sometimes engaged and always expressive."
