Jardin de l’Arquebuse – Museum

Jardin de l'Arquebuse - Museum

A trip to the museum is a natural

- A reinvented museum!
- A renovated museography and a completely updated discourse
- A space, more than a museum, to understand the history of life and biodiversity

The former Arquebusiers barracks, a beautiful 19th century arcaded building, houses the museum and welcomes more than 100,000 visitors per year!

A place to learn and to understand... A completely renovated place where the museography makes it possible to wonder about the fundamental issues of biodiversity. Reconstitutions, models, naturalized specimens, fossils, multimedia, casts... illustrate the scientific messages. They allow visitors to discover the richness and diversity of life and to become aware of the fragility of our environment.

This new tour, adapted to all audiences, is based on scientific, interactive and fun presentations to better understand the diversity of living beings on Earth.

The planetarium's temporary exhibitions, designed according to the same philosophy, complement this permanent presentation.

From local to global... In the museum, the fauna and flora of Burgundy are the pretext for an exciting journey into the diversity of life.
