Practices of enquiry and social criticism.

Zutique and Éditions de la dernière lettre are joining forces to open a cycle on journalistic practices, with a participatory production of an investigation on Lake Kir, the first part of which will take the form of a summer course, "Scandal at Dijon Beach".

During a discussion, the independent journalists and editors Naïké Desquesnes and Mathieu Brier (Notre pain est politique, Mauvaises Mines) from Éditions
de la dernière lettre (Revue Z) will discuss the way in which a journalistic subject is constructed, from the choice of witnesses to documentary research, reaffirming that writing is always situated.

Where does the sand of Lake Kir come from? What privatisation of space during the 2024 Olympics? Is the aperitif at the beach a popular practice? They will present the launch of a collective and intergenerational investigation at Lac Kir, between reports, testimonies and miscellaneous facts, with an original focus on the making of the photo novel.
