This "album of a traveller" (the original title of the undertaking) requires not only considerable technical means (with formidable pieces such as Après une lecture du Dante) but also, beyond the music alone, a sensitivity to the Lisztian project: to evoke the sublime of the Alpine landscapes, in the tradition of Sénacour's Obernann, but also to confront musical expressivity with the art of Raphael, Dante, Petrarch or Michelangelo.
