With her warm, deep voice, Christine Salem is one of the few women to sing maloya. Her rebellious nature and taste for freedom inspire a music that comes from the gut.
The afternoon begins with a bang with Ze Tribu Brass Band. This ensemble, which now comprises nearly 35 amateur and professional musicians, will be joined by a special guest, drummer and vibraphonist Norbert Lucarain, aka Touski.
