Carl Fredricksen, a retired balloon salesman, is ready for his last chance to fly. He ties thousands of balloons to his house and heads for the lost world of his childhood dreams. But, unbeknownst to him, Carl picks up Russell, an eight-year-old boy who is in the wrong place at the wrong time. This unlikely duo make new friends, like Doug, a dog with a special collar that allows him to talk, and Kevin, a bird that can't fly. Carl soon realises that life's greatest adventures are not the ones you think.
