The Municipal Band of Chenôve invites you to discover or rediscover the magical world of the circus, whether it be traditional or contemporary. For this show, the Municipal Band of Chenôve takes pleasure in collaborating with the AnXo Company.
Founded in 1866 as the Chenôve village brass band, the Chenôve Municipal Band has been through all the pitfalls of history up to the present day. It is committed to making constant progress in order to better represent the town where it was born.
With nearly 150 years of existence, the Orchestre d'Harmonie de la ville de Chenôve has forged a strong identity, the result of methodical, patient and demanding work under the direction of its various conductors, Joseph Gelez, Victor Kaiser, Léon Weber and Thierry Weber, assisted by the successive Presidents Maurice Philizot, Jean-Pierre Genot and Guy Descieux for the last fifty years.
Today, with its new President Eric GENOT and its new conductor as musical director Maxime PITOIS, the Municipal Band of Chenôve has marked the season with magnificent concerts at the Cedar. A new year is beginning and new promising moments are on the programme.
