La mort vaincue sur le calvaire, oratorio on the evening of Good Friday in Vienna in 1706: this sepolcro describes the oratorical joust between the Devil, who was at the origin of original sin and who rejoiced in the death of Christ, and Death itself, who in turn appropriated the origin of the death of the Redeemer who boasted, we are told in the argument of the oratorio, "life itself".
