Des Deux Mains is a new creation by the brilliant Breton collective Studio Fantôme. It combines contemporary music, projection, comedy, shadow theatre and textile design.
The show features two characters who discover and explore a space full of sensory surprises, a poetic space that turns into a garden as the seasons go by, a reassuring, poetic, playful little world full of life. Their hands are at work, turning over, unfolding and revealing the elements of a textile décor, and manipulating astonishing instruments, against a backdrop of gentle pop rock and nursery rhymes. During the show, the children are invited to participate in a time when they can freely make music, by appropriating certain elements of the set. For a few minutes, the concert is in their hands.
