Ana Paula Turica and Germán Doncel are the worthy heirs of the great vocal duos that have profoundly renewed Argentine folklore since the 1960s. Their vocal counterpoints are reminiscent of the Salteño duo, pioneers of the genre, and the guitar and bombo arrangements have the subtlety of the Coplanacu duo, the great contemporary reference.

The Turica Doncel duo interprets all forms of Argentine folklore, from the zamba to the chacarera, via the vidala, the bailecito and the cueca. And of course they compose. An intimate and contemporary music, firmly anchored in the Argentine musical tradition.
