Elodie Poux's Bio...éPique

Elodie Poux is the (funny) story of the Playmobil that turns into a butterfly! Yes, because before Elodie Poux became the joyfully piquant comedian who fills the Zeniths, she was a young woman from Nantes, not very comfortable in society, who was trying to survive in the oh-so-cuddly early childhood sector... Although she was touched by the innocence of the little creatures in the making, she soon realised that their cuteness... had its limits.

Elodie Poux then found refuge in writing and performing captivating tales for young audiences... which very quickly turned into hilarious sketches for all audiences... The diagnosis was clear: other people's laughter was now her only possible food, humour and the stage were her only chances of survival... And her first show: Le Syndrome du Playmobil was a triumph throughout the French-speaking world for 10 years... (the Kimberleys say thank you!).)... The moult begins, the wings of the Poux butterfly start to grow...

The media snapped up her many talents as a columnist, comedian, actress and entertainer: RTL, Rire et chanson, TF1, M6, Paris première, her unfiltered pen, her rebellious eyebrow, her cheeky repartee and her ultra-communicative laughter liberated a whole nation in search of a critical sense and light-heartedness.

Directors can't get enough of her innate sense of comedy and her sunny presence on screen, and she has a string of series, TV films and record audiences (1.2 million when her show Syndrome du Playmobil was broadcast on W9).

The wings of the butterfly spread... the Montreux Humour Festival captured her for its first Gala and, the ultimate accolade from the funniest people in the world, Elodie Poux was chosen to present the 2023 Liège Laughter Festival...Then it's off on an impressive tour with "Butterfly Syndrome", a furiously jubilant new show that will give you wings, giggles, desires, plans, more giggles and a few comedy tutorials to help you become a butterfly in full bloom, twirling through epic times...!

Elodie Poux is also an exemplary butterfly mother... so she can educate your children... or not... It's up to you...
