Entre cour et jardins 2023 – week-end #1

The Entre cour et jardins festival returns to its original home, the Jardins de Barbirey-sur-Ouche in the Côte d'Or, and the Dijon metropolitan area, for two weekends of site-specific creations, professional encounters and plenty of social events.

The festival takes place at several venues along the river Ouche on Saturday (Parc de la Colombière, Etrier de Bourgogne, Arboretum de Longvic) and on Sunday at the Jardin de l'Arquebuse 1 avenue Albert 1er 21000 Dijon.

This year's event covers an area that stretches from Longvic to Saint-Victor-sur-Ouche, following the course of the Ouche, a river that rises in Lusigny, flows through Dijon and ends in the Saône. The tranquil Ouche serves as a common thread, and as a backdrop, the crisis of sensitivity whose symptoms the philosopher Baptiste Morizot has highlighted, and whose cause he identifies in the impoverishment and drying up of our relationship with living things.

More than ever, the festival's aim is to support and promote creative work with a rich, high-quality programme, but above all it aims to use our eyes, our attention and our gestures to re-enchant our relationship with the living world through the unique aesthetic experiences that the artists on the programme invite us to enjoy.

Along the banks of the Ouche, Entre cour et jardins invites us to reconnect with living things...
