Exposition “Double Vision” – Véronique Barrillot

Winner of the Jean-Charles Hachet European Prize for Contemporary Art in 2017 and with her experience as a muralist and therefore of large formats, Véronique BARRILLOT has learned to master visual distances and thus play with the brain.

She has thus decided to develop a technique absolutely unique in the world allowing her to superimpose two subjects so that they are only visible to the eye.
that they are only visible at different distances. These Double Visions express "the difference in perception":
stepping back gives a different point of view...

This particular ability has attracted the attention of the CHUV in Lausanne, Department of Clinical Neurosciences.
A metaphor for judgment and tolerance, these mysterious paintings astonish the public wherever they travel:
New York (permanent collection of the Gold Coast Art Center), Washington (French Embassy), Miami, Houston,
Monaco, Paris, or more simply in his studio, 15 rue Charrue in Dijon, in the city centre where we invite you to come and experience an absolutely unique moment.

Immerse yourself in the subject up close, then step back or look through the inverted binoculars, which will give you the necessary distance...
