Jipe Vieren, who lives in the Nievre region of France, founded his own artistic movement, "Le déformisme", which consists of eliminating the vertical in paintings by replacing straight walls with sloping ones.
A building or a house standing straight up in the sky looks so "new" that no ancient history is grafted onto it...
