EXPOSITION « MEUNIER, TU DORS » DE NATHAN CARÊME

Les Ateliers Vortex are pleased to invite you to discover the exhibition "Meunier, tu dors" by Nathan Carême.
The exhibition is open to the public from March 18 to April 29, 2023, from Wednesday to Saturday, from 2:00 to 6:30 pm.
The conversation will take place on Saturday 22 April 2023 at 4 pm.

Born in 1997, Nathan Carême lives and works in Dijon. After studying agriculture and landscaping, he graduated in 2020 from the École Média Art (EMA) du Grand Chalon.

Nathan Carême observes the landscapes shaped by humanity, from the subsoil to the sky, whether they are urban or rural, under construction or in ruins. However, it is from the ground that he spots the impact of Man on the environment that surrounds him, that he questions our relationship with natural resources and their transformation by technology. His romantic sensibility results in soft, dark reveries that respond to the imminent danger that threatens us. In the half-light of sculptural chiaroscuro, he modulates light and space to reveal the relief, depth and fragility of our relationship to the world. It is then that ancient creatures emerge from the murky waters to tell us the omens of the catastrophe that threatens those who wish everything to become ever faster. "Miller you sleep, Your mill your mill goes too fast!"
