"The work of art to denounce, to raise awareness, to make people think, but also to contribute to the dream of a better society. This exhibition brings together some thirty artists from Burgundy and Africa. Closing time is 8pm on weekends.
Eighth exhibition with the same concept: each artist creates a work (installation, painting, sculpture, pottery, photography...) and expresses his or her vision "Utopia, the song of possibilities". It is an intercultural encounter, with art considered as a universal language. Objectives of the event: to generate encounters between artists from the North and South around a common approach to a theme; to organise meetings around the approaches and techniques of African and Burgundian artists; to introduce children to art by offering them a guided tour of the exhibition and to create musical and artistic events and times for reflection. Encounters between artists are essential for breaking down prejudices about the other's culture.
