Fête de l’Escargot à Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur

To celebrate the snail and the flavours of Burgundy in style, the Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur festival features a gourmet village throughout the two days: gougères, champagne, blackcurrants, wine, beers, tarts, honey, mustard, meat, charcuterie, farm produce, etc. A whole host of culinary and gastronomic specialities from the Burgundy Franche-Comté region are on show (as they are at the Fête de l'agriculture in the Côte d'Or)!

Snails are not to be outdone, with tastings also on the programme, in the presence of the Confrérie de l'Escargot, which inducts new members during the festival. You can also meet the event's mascot, Gaston the snail.

The snail festival will also feature festive entertainment: musicians, dancers, street shows...
