On 17, 18 and 19 November 2023, Scène Fontainoise, in partnership with the town of Fontaine-lès-Dijon, invites you to its Folies d'Automne "Jeunes Talents": 6 concerts given by students and former students of the Ecole Supérieure de Musique de Bourgogne Franche-Comté, opening with a piano recital by Frédéric Lagarde, the festival's teacher-coordinator:
First prize winner of the Paris Conservatoire and winner of ten international competitions, he has performed as a soloist and chamber musician on the world's greatest stages.
The eclectic programme will include classical composers (Chopin, Schumann, Beethoven, Debussy, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Dvorak, Poulenc). It will also have a strong jazz flavour (Gershwin, Bernstein), but will also pay tribute to women composers such as Fanny Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann, Lili Boulanger, Cécile Chaminade and others... not forgetting more modern compositions (John Williams' Star Wars Suite - Arturo Marquez's Danzon No. 2 - Aaron Copland's Appalachian Spring...).
An exciting programme, as varied as it is dynamic, full of colour and rhythm that you won't soon forget.
