Gourmandise

"I'm hungry. Ever since I was a little girl, every day that goes by, not to mention the nights, I've been hungry. The first time I looked at life, the first time I breathed, I was hungry for everything and anything" from Mange!

In François Chaffin's play, Mange is a little girl consumed by curiosity. She is philosophical, funny and often irreverent. To satisfy her appetite for life, she devours everything in her path, with envy and voracity.
The story, orchestrated by two performer-puppeteers, begins in front of a giant mouth, like a promise of engulfment, because yes, we are indeed diving inside a digestive system, a phantasmagorical stomach, the epicentre of emotions. Here, slices of sausage, croissants and mushrooms are as much food as they are seats on which, once swallowed, we can sit down to share this feast prepared by Séverine Coulon.
