Il n’y a rien dans ma vie qui montre que je suis moche intérieurement

Between Snow White and Simenon
A shoe, a leg of lamb, a zinc basin, a pair of binoculars, a knife... Agnès Limbos has always been fascinated by the power of the object, its power to evoke, to suggest, its raw and poetic value, as well as all the possibilities it offers the actor to manipulate it.
Objects to tell stories, evoke memories, revive memories, objects used for what they are, on a kitchen table that becomes a theatre stage...
Also on stage, one woman (or is it several?), piecing together the jigsaw puzzle of her life,
Seven little girls who observe, underline or create situations...
And a man, crossing the stage, watching, perhaps lurking...
Both funny and dramatic, this half-polar, half-fairy tale traces the trail of the woman in the fur coat who is lying on the floor. But who is she? What has happened to her?

"Agnès Limbos' show has the merit of tackling a delicate subject head-on and making us laugh (often scornfully) at tragic situations. The actress brilliantly deploys her wry humour and virtuoso handling of everyday objects to evoke, with these few simple props, a reality that is more complex than it seems.
