The Marathon des Grands Crus is a unique experience that combines sport, conviviality and discovery of the Côte-d'Or wine heritage. On 6 October, plunge into the heart of Burgundy's most prestigious vineyards and let yourself be intoxicated by the beauty of the autumn landscapes. Whether you're an experienced runner or a keen walker, this marathon offers several formats, from the full 42km course to more accessible distances, each passing through emblematic villages and vineyards listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Beyond the sporting challenge, the Marathon des Grands Crus is an opportunity to sample local flavours, admire colourful landscapes and feel the warm atmosphere of an event where a passion for wine meets a passion for running. Come and experience an exceptional day, where every stride you take brings you a little closer to Burgundy's traditions!
The route takes in the Route des Grands Crus, passing through some prestigious towns and villages: Dijon, Chenôve, Marsannay-la-Côte, Couchey, Fixin, Brochon, Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny and Vougeot. Wine-tasting sessions are available at various points in the villages along the route. The tour takes 6 hours.
