Marine Chagnon & Joséphine Ambroselli

Moving Songs is a show that takes the audience into the intimacy of women and artists. A concert in the form of a confession by a French voice in full bloom.

Originally from Dijon, mezzo-soprano Marine Chagnon is pursuing a brilliant career on the most prestigious stages. She is a member of the Troupe de l'Opéra de Paris for the 2023-2024 season, and audiences at the Opéra de Dijon have been able to admire her in the title role of Monteverdi's Coronation of Poppea, before she returns for La Traviata in February 2025 as Flora. Here she and pianist Joséphine Ambroselli take us on an intimate journey into the heart of their daily lives. We follow them in their musical practice, their joys, their tribulations, their doubts, their successes and their quest for a balanced life. Through the music of André Messager, Cécile Chaminade, Astor Piazzolla and Francis Poulenc, the two young women simply share, with humour and without filter, the inner fire that drives them on stage and the secret aspirations that stir in the heart of every artist.
