Playing with the aesthetic codes of operetta and musical comedy, Oh La La La! and the Dijon Opera Chorus take us on a joyous journey through a child's view of life, with a lightness that is not insouciance, but rather a capacity to sublimate.
One day, in the street, a child stops to listen to two artists. This gaze gives rise to a musical promenade that waltzes between two fantasies: the discovery of romantic love for the child, and the rediscovery of childhood for the adults. The stage is transformed into a playground for the protagonists as the pianist performs a series of numbers. The musical programme includes well-known operetta arias (Tea for Two, Heure exquise, C'est Magnifique...), as well as (re)discoveries from the operetta repertoire of the first half of the 20th century (La Route fleurie, Les Bavards....), and new arrangements of French chanson standards (Bambino, Sous le ciel de Paris, La Saint-Médard...), not forgetting the great French composers of the twentieth century (Francis Poulenc, Maurice Ravel...).
