Pique-nique régional à la Cité de la Gastronomie

Maxime VICTORIN, chef at LE MALTO restaurant in Dijon, will be serving up a picnic of the best specialities from the Burgundy Franche-Comté region.
Meals are on sale at the Cité's online ticket office, and you can pick them up at the Place du Village, in the heart of the Village Gastronomique.
Your meal will consist of :
- Starter: Foccacia garnished with snails (Bourgogne Escargots), basil, sun-dried tomatoes and black garlic butter
- Main course: Bao with mushrooms, Morteau sausage and Comté cheese (Fromagerie Badoz)
- Cheese: Mille Feuilles with Morvan ham (Salaisons Dijonnaises) and Tomme cheese (Fromagerie de Montbéliard)
- Dessert: Blackcurrant mousse with creamy vanilla and lavender honey (Apidis) on a gingerbread puck (Mulot et Petitjean)
- Mignardise: Cookie with Flavigny aniseed and walnut mustard (Fallot)

He will be demonstrating his cookie recipe at 11.30am in the village square.
You can enjoy your meal in the alleys of the gastronomic village, on the lawns in the courtyard at the back of the Cave de la Cité, or take it home with you.

It's sure to be a delicious and relaxing experience!

PLEASE NOTE: meals will not be sold on site and drinks are not included. You'll find a full range of drinks in the village shops. You'll be able to enjoy a cocktail or mocktail specially designed to accompany your packed lunch, to be purchased on site.
