"I, Anja Karinskaya, will be the greatest composer of all time.
Singer-songwriter Claire Diterzi has never before written for children and young people, nor created an opera for a soloist.
With this piece of music, she takes up these two challenges and creates a work that features the character of Anja, played by the soprano Anaïs de Faria. Anja is bursting with desire, music and anger. She wants to put an end to injustice, prohibitions and injunctions. She wants to be free. She is driven by music, but the response is that "there's no such thing as a great composer". Bursting with "Slavic" anger, Anya locks herself in her room and decides that since that's the way it is, she'll make an opera all by herself. And so, along with her music, she invents her double, Svetlana-the-storm, lonely, misunderstood, determined not to marry the Prince Charming chosen by her parents...
