It's a show full of humour and emotion that Renata has concocted for us here.
She knew some of the Poilus... Her grandfather and uncle were in the trenches; she pays tribute to them and then there's Marin, the young father whose letter adds a few touches of tenderness to the whole.
It's a personal, feminine and loving look at a sacrificed generation, who loved to laugh, sing and dance, just like us, and whose only wish was to live!
Produced with the support of the City of Dijon.
