A family gets into their brand new minivan in the early hours of the morning to avoid traffic jams for the summer holidays. Tom, the father, sets his electronic cruise control to 130 km/h. Just as a final blunder by Ben, the father-in-law, leads Julia to ask for a U-turn, Tom realises that he is no longer in control of his vehicle. The on-board electronics are no longer responding and the speed is blocked at 130 km/h. All the manoeuvres to slow down the runaway car were to no avail. A crazy car, six passengers on the verge of a nervous breakdown and a monster traffic jam waiting for them less than two hundred kilometres away...
