In the beginning, there is nothing but boredom.
Nothing but boredom. Two characters and a musician set off to explore the enigmatic lands of this cold country. But they are soon overtaken by daydreams.
From discovery to discovery, a flamboyant universe appears before our eyes, accompanied by live music and sound effects.
So you see, in Sous le plancher, director Bénédicte Guichardon is interested in boredom as the source of all things possible. And this show by the company Le bel après-minuit gently takes us by the hand to invite us to explore the infinite world of the imagination, where emptiness evolves into abundance, the immobile into the mobile.
In the end, don't nothing and boredom have the virtue of encouraging us to discover, experiment and create?
