Gilda Solve is an American born in San Francisco.
Her vocal power, her formidable jazz energy, her swing and great stage presence and her contact with the audience leave a strong impression of joy and pleasure after each concert.
Gilda performs regularly in the United States and Europe. She is often accompanied by a big band, most recently at La Seine Musicale in a duet with Nathalie Dessay.
A specialist in the repertoires of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Horace Silver, Sonny Rollins, Miles Davis and Chick Corea, she has invited us to take another trip through the unforgettable standards of jazz. Today, she offers us a more contemporary repertoire, with a different take on the harmonies and rhythms of jazz and the colours of California.
