After a 27-year wait, the Tour de France is making its grand return to Dijon, the magnificent capital of the Dukes of Burgundy. The riders will start their journey in our region at Corpeau, then pass through picturesque villages nestling in the heart of famous vineyards: Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Tailly and Merceuil. After a quick foray onto the roads of Saône-et-Loire, the Tour will pass through such gems as Meursanges, Corberon, Labergement-lès-Seurre, Pouilly-sur-Saône, Auvillars-sur-Saône, Broin and Saint-Nicolas-lès-Cîteaux, Izeure, Longecourt-en-Plaine, Thorey-en-Plaine, Rouvres-en-Plaine, Fauverney, Neuilly-Crimolois, Sennecey-lès-Dijon, and Longvic before finally arriving in Dijon, the historic city of the Dukes of Burgundy.
