VIVALDI Le Vénitien – concert lyrique flûte-chant-piano-violon

ClairObscur-Lyrique presents "Vivaldi Le Vénitien", a flute-chant-piano- violin concert featuring Sylvie Monot (mezzo-soprano and storyteller), Caroline Schmid (pianist and composer), Mathilde Groffier (flutist) and Matthieu Cardes (violinist). Through cantatas, opera excerpts and concertos, this is an invitation to travel through the exalted world of Vivaldi.
"An extraordinary creative fury from a man who was sublimated and then forgotten".
A story is woven into the fabric of this colourful repertoire: the story of a Venetian violin-maker.
The composer's golden years were those when the Serenissima was living out its finest hours, with its festivals, carnival, games, pleasures, Baroque agape and opera, of which Venice was the world capital.
