A world-renowned independent French producer, his 20-year career has made him one of the pillars of the international electro hip-hop scene, and he has collaborated with a host of artists including Ghostface Killah (Wu Tang Clan), Del The Funky Homosapien (Gorillaz), Mark Lanegan, Mick Jenkins, Aloe Blacc, D-Smoke, Tricky, Sharon Jones, Lee Fields, Token, R.A The Rugged Man and many others.

Sorg & Napoleon Maddox (FR)
The tireless Franco-American duo are back with their 2nd album, 'Louverture', a concept album inspired by the struggle of the Haitian general Toussaint Louverture. Rapper Napoleon Maddox has been distilling his sharp flow over beatmaker Sorg's productions for almost 10 years now. This opus opens the doors of history, exploring and sharing the life of Toussaint Louverture through the worlds of jazz, electro and hip-hop. The powerful symbolism of the story of Louverture, the black Haitian general who fought for the French revolutionary armies and then against the re-establishment of slavery, before ending his life at the Château de Joux imprisoned by Bonaparte, resonates particularly strongly with the shared history of the Afro-American peoples.
