At the bend in the pedestrianised Rue de l'Amiral Roussin stands the restaurant Monique, Boire et Manger. Here, the chef Clara Reydet has chosen to offer a "serious but sincere" cuisine by buying from local and/or organic producers at the Dijon market. At Monique's, eating and drinking, a meal can look like a "Brioche with curry, roasted cauliflower and white cheese with herbs" followed by a "Lamb shoulder confit, mirabelle plums, cauliflower salad and corn bread", all crowned with a "Chocolate fondant, pepper sorbet". In the glasses, Burgundian wines, local juices and Dijon beers are served. The aim is to make Monique a lively place, where the hospitality of Monique, her grandmother, could be expressed.
